Casino Filipino continues cybersecurity collaboration with ROOTCON

For the second consecutive year, Casino Filipino proudly reaffirms its commitment to cybersecurity by partnering with ROOTCON, a prestigious platform that empowers IT experts to strengthen digital defenses against ever-evolving cyber threats.

Casino Filipino, led by its Marketing Department (MD), took the initiative to sponsor ROOTCON 17, the Philippines' longest standing and largest cybersecurity conference. ROOTCON, a clever amalgamation of 'root' (indicating a super-user) and 'con' (short for conference), remains the pinnacle of information technology conferences in the Philippines.

ROOTCON 17, held at Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay City from September 28 to 30, 2022, attracted professionals from diverse sectors, including finance, IT, and government agencies like PAGCOR. Renowned international IT giants, such as Emerson, Qualys, and Sophos, participated, focusing on critical topics such as application security, phishing prevention, vulnerability testing, and network security.

The sponsorship of ROOTCON 17 is an integral component of the Marketing Department’s player acquisition program. Through this event, MD successfully engaged with the tech-savvy, high-income Filipino population, as well as IT professionals from countries like India, China, and the UK.
